Wool - The wool in these quilts was grown in New Zealand. Australia grows fine merino wool, but ideally, for bedding, you need something springier that holds the bounce and lets the quilt breathe. The high, wet country in New Zealand is perfect for coarse wool sheep to graze and this is a perfect product for doonas and upholstery wool.  I personally went to New Zealand and visited the farms and saw them shearing. I followed the process from farm to manufacturing. The wool was tested and there was no chemical residue.

Wash in a gentle cold wool wash cycles with wool detergent.
